Research and Planning Stage

I am currently working through the research and planning phase of my project, and need to start taking into consideration what genre of music my peice will focus on. I completed my preliminary task which refreshed my memory of the skills needed on photoshop and I began to concentrate more on possible layouts and typography.

I am thinking of focusing my magazine around the dubstep music scene and writing my double page spread on a locul dubstep music event. I'll be able to source images easily and I feel that this magazine fills a gap in the market and would appeal to an evergrowing dubstep audience.
