Magazine

Now that I have decided my genre of magazine I have now chosen my models to appear on my magazine and am now waiting to do a photoshoot when both of them are available. This is difficult as one of the people don't attend college so will have to come in his free time whist not at university. I plan to take a camera home at the weekend and take photos outside, probably in the woods that I live near for added effect, so providing the weather is kind to me I will have my first set of photos for the start of next week.

The models I have chosen have been specifically chosen to represent the genre of my magazine. One has long black hair, and whilst in the photo shoot I am going to put him with a guitar to show the heavy metal side of this magazine and try to potray his 'angry' attitude. My other model has Medium/long hair and will have a microphone on the photos. I will try to show a more moody side with this person and my initial ideas are; for the main picture to have them both stood back to back, looking at the camera with their instruments. This is to show the contrast between the two genres, but to also bring them both together for the magazines purpose.

However I do have one problem. As I will target part of my magazine on music festivals coming up this year, I can get information but wont be able to get pictures from any of the festivals, obviously because they only take part later on in the year. This is a problem as I wont be able to create the 'festival atmosphere' through my magazine and I will only be able to talk about them in my double page spread.
