I did a photoshoot for the front cover of my magazine, i used this person as a model as she had the look to match the indie/rock genre of my magazine. I did this photoshoot in the studio using the 3 point lighting and took a range of profile and full length shots from different angles to give me choice for my cover image. these are a few of my favourite images from the shoot.
This is the photo that i will use on my front cover. I chose this photo because she has the right attitute and look on it. I did a few screen shots of my editing the photo in Photoshop. I cropped the photo to just a profile shot as this is typical of a music magazine, it also exaggerates the face more and sets more of a focus. I changed the colour levels to brighten up the photo so that it looks more suitable for a cover image.
Double check that the images from your shoot are included here, it can be useful to post an original image followed by regular updates as you manipulate it in photoshop.
