We found this deleted scene from 'Haunting in Connecticut' very useful. Mainly because it is set in a graveyard and the majority of our opening sequence is based in a graveyard. Also we are looking to use the 'crane' shot which is clearly demonstrated, being the opening shot in this sequence. We feel the tracking shots that include tree's and gravestones in the foreground add a sense of social realism to the scene.

  1. If you plan to include a crane shot remember to plan well in advance when you will shoot, talk to Martin or Mike about this. The weather can also be an important factor to consider when using the crane.
