Research - Contents page

This is the contents page from Q magazine, i chose to put this in my research because it follows the same music genre as my magazine. i like the layout of this contents page with the large image surrounded by the information.
i like the wide use of images on this contents page, i feel it draws attention to it. however the colour scheme seems to be a bit plain so i doubt i will use that as an idea for my contents page,

I like how there are more than one image on this contents page and how they are set out in square blocks. i also like how the text is set out with the headings highlighted with a bright colour to make it easy to follow. i may use this as an inspiration for my contents page.
