As a group we have just completed filming and editing our preliminary activity for our video coursework task. We filmed following the 180 degree rule and match on action technique-this enhanced the realism in the short sequence. We shot a basic storyline which allowed us to show our current camera skills. We then used adobe premiere to cut and edit the sequence, forming continuity editing. As a group we have come to the final decision to complete a video peice for our coursework; we are now beginning to plan to create a horror opening sequence. At this moment in time the only potential problem is the lighting due to wanting to create the most realistic and professional opening 2 minutes as possible. We will experiment with a range of lighting equipment before beginning filming the official sequence to find the most suitable for our shooting.
