Before taking my photos i came up with a series of location ideas for the background of my shots;
- Studio - These shots would be easy to edit with the white background and text would stand out clearly around the edges.
- Bedroom - These would look like slightly more personal images and would maybe be more apporopriate for the double page spread.
- Music Studio - This would fit the theme of my magazine as its a music magazine.
- Dark Background - This would add to the moodyness and attitude of the photo, so would fit the rock music genre. It would also make the model stand out from the background and make it easy to fit text and other images around the edges.
Good consideration of mise-en-scene here, the next stage is to begin to think about the details that would be appropriate for each shot. E.g. in the bedroom would we see records, instruments etc alongside your model(s)?
