News Ideas

The radio specification said that I have to include a news bulletin in my show therefore I wrote down lots possible news broadcasts to include in my show. I needed to make sure I included lots of local news but make sure it was interesting. Some of my ideas for local news included the merging of Lowton High and Golbourne High to create one Superschool and the appeal against the idea to build a green belt in Newton-Le-Willows. I also wanted to include sports news as I was aiming my show towards a wide audience, some of my ideas for sports news was broadcasting the weekends premier league scores including any news or updates on Wigan Athletic football club and the appeal against debate about whether the council should demollish Leigh gymnastics club.
