Today I took a few pictures just too get a feel for my genre and to try out which angles, backgrounds and props are suitable. I wanted lots of smiles for my 'bubble gum' pop image and used a range of models. Some of the photos were taken really casually whereas some where took in the studio.

This shot is resembling an interview, it's as if the model doesn't
realise it's being taken. I've seen this style of shot in a few magazines and I like the effect it has on the audience.
A quick
photoshop exercise. The original picture of Chloe was slightly dull (the lighting isn't working in the studio at the moment,) but I adjusted the lighting and contrast and enhanced her cheekbones to make the picture more striking but without leaving a harsh effect. I really think Chloe has the perfect look of an
upcoming pop star so this might possibly be my cover shot.
