Beginning our research

In the lesson we watched a range of opening sequences which were completed by previous students, some were of a high standard A grade and some of a C grade or even lower. This allowed us to see what we need to do in order to achieve our target grade. Watching these videos has motivated us to want to produce and film the best possible sequence. WE also viewed some proffesional older opening thriller sequences which enabled us to view how we could use techniques like match on action, the reverse shot, time effects and even just simply the 180 degree rule.
This was the first step to planning and researching for the production process and now we plan to move forward into looking at how proffesional films make it as realistic for the audience as possible.
