Double Page Spread Completion

Here is my double page spread:

As you can see, the two examples that I looked at really did inspire me!
I really liked the column of photographs that look like they have come out of a photo booth which are shown on The Saturdays layout but I think it is slightly cliché. I took this but used a film reel instead as it is more bold and striking. I also liked how a picture was boxed but part of the it popped out on top so I also put this in my magazine. Additionally I included the hearts from the front cover used on Nina's strap line on her title to give continuity, sort of like a trademark. I will evaluate this at a later stage but for now I am really pleased with how it turned out but I may still make a few changes.

  1. Good, you have developed a coherent style and ethos for your magazine. Now apply the same techniques and thinking to produce your contents page. Remember to bring in the paintshop pro file of this double spread.
