Contents Page

Contents Page After completing my front cover, I moved onto the contents page. I started off by creating my template, keeping the same colour scheme, but adding a white gradient for some variation. I created some boxes for organisation purposed, and I made an indication on how large my image would be.

I decided that again, an image would be the prominant feature in the contents page, as I would save information and large chunks of text for the inside stories. I added, and resized my image, making it large so it would stand out, but making sure I had room to include my page numbers and stories.

Finally, I had to write up the page numbers and stories. Organisation was a big factor in creating my contents page. First of all, I applied my colour scheme to my text, using the red page numbers, with a black background and white text so contrast against it.

I put my page numbers in chronological order, each at an equal font. However, as my cover story, was something that attracted my audiences attention, I made sure to enlarge it, so my readers could find the story quickley and easily. I gave the story an individual box and increased the size of the words. In addition, I underlined a teaser from the front cover, reason being the same as the cover story, so my readers could find it easily.
