To get around this issue we decided to film different sections of the sequence in different lighting situations. So the first shots taken were for the establishing shots which were all filmed outdoors in the daylight so lighting was not an issue here.
However we then moved to location number 2. This was a pitch dark underground pit with no natural or electrical lighting sources. We took a torch down into the pit with us whilst filming and then brought this into the mise en scene (props) of the film. This then became a part of the storyline.

After filming in the pit we then moved to the upstairs of our main location which was the garage. The remains of the sequence was taken within the four garage walls. The lighting in the room varied and some of the shots we had planned to take which was pre listed on our story board would not work in that particular lighting as the camera couldnt pick up the image due to the lack of lighting.
Therefore half way through the sequence we had to adapt the lighting (we turned on some more of the lights abve), however this was still creating a musky low lighting. The eerie effect was still captured even though the entire sequence was not in a low light.
There was also some issues with the camera itself and how it picked up the lighting and adapted to the lighting from various angles and positions. We were only able to clearly see this issue once we had completed filming and uploaded the sequence of shots onto the computer. This is not a major problem as the entire sequence varies and there was nothing we could do about this as it was imply down to the camera model used.
