Concept: Double Page Spread

From what I have observed in established publications I have created a plan for a double page spread. It also corresponds with what my audience research revealed - that people prefer images over text.

Here it is:

Here are some things to keep in mind:

• The main image will be of my band/artist. This will link the main spread with the front cover of the magazine.
• The three smaller images will either be of each member, or three different looks from the solo artist.
• The album details section will feature a picture of the album artwork, as well a few one-sentence bullet points.
• There will be a large interesting quote that will make readers want to read the whole text.
• The text will be in quite a small font, as this still allows for a larger quantity of images but also for more written information.
• The side feature could be an interview or a 'what's on your iPod?' with one of the artists.
