We set our story in two locations:
location 1- The Canal: The key to location 1 was that it was a fairly isolated place. The general feel of the area was that of urban deterioration and neglect; therefore the perfect place for someone to get kidnapped! We felt this canal bridge in Leigh was most fitting to this description and also it was great practicality wise as we could all easily get there for filming!
location 2 - The Garage: This location was the one that seemed to be more specific to fit in with our plot line as it was fully equipped with tools which we can use to our disposal and also it had a small basement in which our victim could be held captive. The mechanics garage is already adorned with wrenches, saws and drills etc, all of which helped in creating the perfect mise-en-scene for this scene!
Now that we have our locations we can adapt our plot line and create a story board specifically set in these locations!
