Writing The Script

When I began to write my script I needed to think about what voices would be appropriate in my show. I wanted to use a more mature/older voice when talking and broadcasting negative news to make it sound like the issue is seriuos where as when broadcasting sports new I can use a more of a upbeat voice.

I wanted to open my show with a jingle of up to 10 seconds as most shows I have come across such as the Chris Moyles show and the Rob Eillis at Breakfast show all start with a personalised jingle. Here is an example (link)

I then wrote an introduction to my show. As I wanted my show to appeal to a wide range of audience I wanted to keep my grammer informal and I also will speak directly to the audience.

After the introduction I incorperated the live interviews with 2 students from Lowton high this will last approximately 1 minute. Directly after this the host will introduce a song and the song will then play for around 50 seconds. I will be using a sounclip from (link)
