Question 4.Who would be the audience for your media product?

Our film would be aimed at 15 years and over meaning it would be given the 15 certificate. This is due to the strong horror theme! Some images in the sequence maybe disturbing to younger children as we used costume and make up to enhance the shock factor. The film is intense and has a lot of anticipation which an older range of people could appreciate more. The film would allow a younger age group to be able to follow the basic storyline; however an older audience can involve themselves emotionally with the characters and follow the story at the same time which under 15s could possibly not appreciate.




A similar age group to the one in which John Moores' The Omen. Both include horror and a clever storyline that allows it to qualify for a 15 certificate.
